Brighton State School has been providing quality education in the Brighton area since 1920 and I am very proud to be the Principal of this wonderful school.
The staff at Brighton are committed and work tirelessly to allow every student to reach their potential. Our staff believe every child can succeed and learning programs are tailored to provide a differentiated approach to maximise achievement for each child.
The relationship between home and school is vital if children are to succeed. We are fortunate at Brighton to have caring and supportive parents who work closely with teachers to make sure every student is the best they can be. Our active Parents and Citizens Association works hard to support our school and we have a number of exciting projects planned for the year to make our school even better.
Brighton students come to school every day ready to learn. While literacy and numeracy remain a strong focus in all learning at Brighton, our students are engaged in a wide range of fun and interesting activities that nurture their academic, as well as social and emotional needs.
For current students my wish is that your memories of Brighton State School will be happy ones and that many of the friendships you have made whilst at school are lifelong. My wish is that we have given you the best start possible in your educational life. Giving you the best possible start in life is every staff’s mantra at Brighton State School. My wish is that Brighton State School develops honest, positive, independent, relational, hardworking and empathetic members of society.
Experiences of the past have made Brighton State School the outstanding learning institution it is today. Our enormous respect for the past provides the foundation for continued success as we embark on the next 100 years.
If you have any questions about our school or you would like to have a tour and see for yourself why we are the school of choice in Brighton, please don’t hesitate to call our office.
